In this course we will cover the basics of community ecology and - at a more rudimentary level - ecosystem ecology, preparing us to discuss current approaches to ecosystem management.  The course will involve presentations of material by the instructor and by the students themselves, discussions of primary literature, and hands-on work with simple multispecies modeling.
