Fundamentals of Hydrologic Engineering

Course Description:
Same as CE 325. Principles of hydrologic science and their application to the solution of hydraulic, hydrologic, environmental, and water resources engineering problems; application of principles and measurements of precipitation, evaporation, infiltration, and snowmelt in development of rainfall-runoff models appropriate to various catchment scales for engineering purposes; some emphasis on urban hydrology problems, stormwater management, and mathematical modeling. Some field exercises. Prereq: Math 310, Stat 301, and Engr 335.
